Rogers voters approved all six parts of the city's bond issue Tuesday, according to unofficial results. The vote extends the existing 1% sales tax to pay for a package of up to $457.25 million.

If you drive Rogers streets, here's the plan. Community development director John McCurdy said in July the street money targets a better-connected grid, downtown brick streets and stormwater work. A new Oak Street bridge over Osage Creek would link west Rogers to downtown, and Walnut Street will get turn lanes, sidewalks and buried utilities.

Parks director Quinton Harris said a new west-side park would raise the city's park space by just under 40%.

  • West-side park: about 230 acres the city already owns
  • Animal adoption center: 50-plus dog kennels and a free-roam cat room
  • : bond lets the city buy the building
  • Population: 76,956 in 2025, up from just over 40,000 in 2001

Every bond measure passed with at least 57.6% yes
