Wild Birds Unlimited in Fayetteville and Rogers teamed up with Northwest Arkansas cat rescue groups to protect songbirds by rehoming stray cats; Ambre Brewster said the program removed 60 cats over 17 months—saving roughly 3,000 birds annually—and urges adopters to use window feeders. The initiative helps keep both cat and bird populations healthy.

Tyson Foods announced that Sarah Bond, president of Xbox, was named an independent director on its board in Springdale, increasing the board to 16 (she also serves on the board of the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts and is vice chair of the Entertainment Software Association).

A $2 million project to deliver water to about 120 people in southwest Benton County is set to begin construction this winter.

The project will serve around 40 households + a couple businesses and one church.

A historic retail and office building directly south of the downtown square in Bentonville is on the market for $17.4 million.

The 17,476-square-foot two-story property—built between 1885 and 1892 and renovated in 2000—includes retail on the first floor, office on the second floor, and two upstairs apartments.
