- ➤ Wild Birds Unlimited in Fayetteville and Rogers teamed up with Northwest Arkansas cat rescue groups to protect songbirds by rehoming stray cats; Ambre Brewster said the program removed 60 cats over 17 months—saving roughly 3,000 birds annually—and urges adopters to use window feeders. The initiative helps keep both cat and bird populations healthy. 5 News

- ➤ A $2 million project to deliver water to about 120 people in southwest Benton County is set to begin construction this winter. The project will serve around 40 households + a couple businesses and one church. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
