- ➤ Volunteers from Mew Cat Rescue built 96 insulated cat shelters over the weekend for free distribution to residents caring for outdoor cats in Rogers (each prefilled with straw to repel moisture and withstand winter weather). - ➤ Arvest Bank promoted Bret Jones to community bank president in Pea Ridge on Tuesday, Dec. 9 as he replaces Jeff Neil, who moved to commercial loan management. Jones will lead local community banking efforts to grow deposits and loans. NWA Business Journal

- ➤ Alice Walton’s foundation and Heartland Whole Health Institute announced Tuesday (Dec. 9) they will expand the Ignite Professional Studies program with Bentonville Public Schools on a 100-acre Health Care Campus near downtown, set to open in 2028.
