- ➤ The Arkansas State Broadband Office’s proposal to use $305 million in federal funds to bring high-speed internet to more than 79,000 underserved Arkansans was approved by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration Tuesday—cost-cutting changes reduced the funding by $3 million, dropped three providers, and narrowed service areas.
