  • Bentonville-based Walmart reported its fiscal third-quarter revenue of $179.496 billion and net income of $6.143 billion, beating market estimates — the strong performance was driven by a robust e-commerce segment. CEO Doug McMillon said the company was positioned for a strong finish as it raised full-year guidance and announced it would move its stock listing to NASDAQ effective December 9.  NWA Business Journal

  • Hayes Maginnis is a baseball shortstop and right-hand pitcher committed to Arkansas who stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds (ranked No. 4 in Georgia and No. 80 nationally for his class by Perfect Game).  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • On Thursday and Wednesday, high school basketball teams across the region played, with Episcopal Collegiate winning 59-52 over Little Rock Flames and Farmington defeating Nettleton 83-65.
