- ➤ NW Arkansas is hosting several outdoor events starting with a walk in Siloam Springs on Nov. 25 at Bob Henry Park—participants can choose a 5- or 10-kilometer route for a $4 fee while registration runs from 12:30 to 1 p.m. A birding field trip will take place on Nov. 29 at Lake Fayetteville along with youth grant applications closing on Nov. 30 for conservation projects, and future programs include free survival skills training on Dec. 6 in Fort Smith, geocaching on Dec. 13 in Springdale, guided duck hunts, and a Grand Slam Award fishing contest in 2025. - ➤ Arkansas is set to begin its early football signing period Dec 3-5 as the school secured 13 new recruits, including Bentonville receiver Dequane Prevo and defensive end Colton Yarbrough.
