Walmart CEO Doug McMillon announced he will step down on Jan.
31 and be replaced by John Furner, who runs Walmart U.S. Analysts said the company earned a 323% gain under his 12-year leadership and expect Furner to boost growth with new AI plans—shares fell briefly after the news.

During the LSU game, confusion arose after an Arkansas block on Grant Chadwick's punt led to a 16-yard scoop-and-score that gave LSU a 23-22 win—initially credited to Caleb Wooden, the play was later reassigned to freshman linebacker Wyatt Simmons.
This marked the Razorbacks' first blocked punt for a touchdown since 2009.
Texas Tech handed the University of Arkansas women's basketball team its first loss under Coach Kelsi Musick on Sunday when the Lady Raiders won 80-68 at United Supermarkets Arena.
Arkansas kept the game close in the fourth quarter and will host UALR at 6:30 p.m. Thursday as they work to improve their play.
