HEALTH NEWS

  • The Alice L. Walton Foundation revealed on Wednesday that CannonDesign and EBS were chosen to design the Bentonville Health Care Campus on a 100-acre site two miles from downtown, featuring a Center for Advanced Specialty Care that focuses on whole-person health. The project is part of a larger $700 million initiative over 30 years and will include a parking garage, utility building and landscaped grounds—its first phase set to open in December 2028.  5 News

SPORTS NEWS

  • Gravette used a strong first-half run to beat Central Arkansas Christian 64—14 at Lion Stadium Friday night in the Class 4A state playoffs. The win moves the team forward into the next round if they keep up their performance.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • No. 19 Tennessee beat Arkansas in a SEC volleyball match Friday evening by winning 3-0 with scores of 25–18, 25–15, and 25–15—Tennessee’s Hayden Kubik led with 13 kills and 12 blocks while Arkansas saw Parker Duncan add 10 kills in its 13th straight loss since Sept. 26.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
