- ➤ Local leaders at the Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce presented Bold Bentonville, an economic development plan focused on upgrading infrastructure, expanding retail and enhancing community assets to address rising affordability challenges. - ➤ John Brown University in Siloam Springs said that President Chip Pollard and his wife, Carey, received the Mark Simmons Service Above Self Award while professor Joe Walenciak received the Rotary Impact Award on Oct. 14. - ➤ Bentonville’s Thaden School received the Andrea Palladio International Prize last month in Vicenza, Italy for its campus design— the award honored the school’s teamwork with its design partners on the 30-acre campus.
