  • Walmart announced that it will hold three Christmas holiday sales events both in stores and online this year. The first sale is scheduled for Nov. 14—16 with early online access for Walmart+ members at 6 p.m. on Nov. 13, followed by an online-only sale from Nov. 25—27, a combined sale from Nov. 28—30, and a Cyber Monday sale on Dec. 1 with early access at 6 p.m. on Nov. 30.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Washington Junior High will become Bentonville’s sixth parent-choice school next fall and will offer International Baccalaureate programming starting in 2026-27—a change that brings a new global focus to its curriculum. School and district officials celebrated the announcement with a special event that highlighted the school’s strong academic record and partnerships with local institutions.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

SPORTS NEWS

  • During the closing moments of Thursday night games, defensive players from Bentonville and Farmington stepped up for their teams. Bentonville’s Connor Davis and Farmington’s Bailey made big stops — earning them co-Players of the Week honors.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
