More than 100 entrepreneurs won a chance to have their American-made products on Walmart and Sam's Club shelves after competing at Walmart’s Open Call held in Bentonville this week.

Over 500 invited finalists from 47 states competed in coaching and one-on-one pitches — winners received a coveted Golden Ticket that supports small businesses and U.S. manufacturing.

A star from HGTV’s Fixer to Fabulous headlined an event today at 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville — local organizations scheduled additional activities including speaker series, fundraisers, support groups and scholarship opportunities over the coming weeks.
