Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville announced Monday that it received two landmark gifts from the Walton family and the Humphreys to support its 114,000-square-foot expansion—an initiative that will add new galleries and spaces and hold an opening ceremony on June 6 and 7 next year.
Bentonville Parks and Recreation launched year two of its E-Bike Rebate Program with a new $300 rebate plus expanded income eligibility for all bike types.
Applications opened on Monday, September 8 at 9:00 a.m. and will close on Monday, September 15 at 10:00 a.m. with rebates awarded by random selection for Bentonville residents age 18 and older.
Benton County health inspectors reported that several restaurants in Bentonville, Rogers, and Siloam Springs failed to meet food safety standards by not ensuring proper handwashing—issues included missing signage and improper food storage.
The violations may increase the risk of foodborne illness if they are not corrected.
The Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team played two scrimmages on Friday and Saturday with new transfers and freshmen showing strong hitting and base running after losing 11 players to pro ball.
The team will hold two free scrimmages later this week as it prepares for the 2026 season — giving fans a chance to see their rebuilding squad.
