🎓 Education
On Aug. 13, the school board approved the sale of 25 acres on East Kenwood Road to the Roderick L.
Allen Living Trust for $925,000, which adds over $900,000 to fund the DaySpring building remodel. The sale is set to close around Sept. 11 with a cash payment.
🏈 Sports
After a summer-long duel between returning sophomore KJ Jackson & four-star transfer AJ Hill, head coach Ryan Silverfield named Jackson the starting quarterback.
The Razorbacks will open on Sept. 5 in Fayetteville against North Alabama & the team is confident he will lead well.
After training camp scrimmage, Arkansas offensive coordinator Tim Cramsey named KJ Jackson the starting quarterback for the season opener against North Alabama at Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Sept.
5. Jackson said he and AJ Hill (his main competitor) plan to support each other this season.
