Village Capital has launched a flexible investment facility to support startups in Northwest Arkansas today, offering revenue based debt and redeemable equity.
The pilot — backed by a $700,000 gift from the Walton Family Foundation — will invest up to $150,000 in five local businesses during its one year run.

Bentonville-based At Poultry LLC, led by Son Thai Nguyen, bought a 60.2-acre broiler farm on Wann Road west of Sulphur Springs for $5.3 million, selling at $88,039 per acre — First Financial Bank provided an 18-year and a 15-year loan for the deal.
