- ➤ Jace Palmer, 23, of Foxboro Court in Bentonville was arrested Monday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and commercial burglary after police reported he broke into the Walmart AMP on Saturday at 10 p.m.—surveillance footage showed him throw rocks at a security camera, steal three medical bags from the EMS room, and damage a walk-in cooler. - ➤ Arkansas law now requires all school districts to give teachers 12 weeks of paid leave for new moms with babies born after July 1 and paid leave for dads welcoming foster or adopted children — a change that began on Aug. 5 — to ease financial and scheduling burdens.
