- ➤ Walmart is changing its growth plan by focusing on high-margin revenue streams like advertising and memberships—CEO Doug McMillon said the company is using gains in Walmart Connect and the online marketplace to boost profits in a tough economy. - ➤ Bentonville will host the Consumer Impact Summit from Sept. 16 to 18 at Ledger — the event will focus on sustainability in the consumer packaged goods market and work with Retail Innovation Week.
