- ➤ Big Paws of the Ozarks said Rogers Animal Services neglected three dogs left in a home on W. Wood St. for 18 months after their owners were arrested in January 2024, forcing a neighbor—who fed the dogs every day—to seek help until a June deadline led to two dogs being put down at 2:30 p.m. on June 19—while one dog remained with him and one puppy went to Big Paws. - ➤ FiveNEWS and United Way have launched a school supply fundraiser to help local students get essential supplies and support as they prepare for the new school year. Donations accepted from July 21 + August 11 will fund school supplies and services for students and their families. 5 News
- ➤ Classes began on July 14 at the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine in Bentonville where its 154,000-square-foot building is located just east of Crystal Bridges and houses the four-year MD program. - ➤ The City of Bentonville is accepting applications for its Airport Advisory Board — a volunteer group that advises on long-term planning, operations, and policies for the Municipal Airport. - ➤ Big Paws of the Ozarks claimed that Rogers Animal Services neglected three dogs by leaving them in a home for 18 months after arrests in January 2024, forcing a neighbor to feed and care for them at his own expense.
