Bentonville Parks & Recreation will host an Independence Day celebration at Orchards Park on Saturday, July 4 with live music, a 7:00 p.m. Warbirds flyover and fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m. Food trucks will offer summertime favorites (alcohol is not allowed).

FAST volunteers Brian Young and Jon Kearley work to keep Bella Vista trails in good shape by trimming overgrown sections and fixing drainage to reduce erosion.

They plan to post details on upcoming trail events on FAST and Trailblazers social media pages.

Kelly Kemp-McLintock was named executive director of the Bentonville Library Foundation on Monday (June 29).

She brings nearly 25 years of nonprofit leadership from the Jones Center and the Peel Compton Foundation to build sustainable support for the library’s lifelong learning programs.
