- ➤ On Tuesday morning, families of missing persons gathered at the Benton Event Center parking lot where 40 custom yard signs displayed photos and names to remind the community of loved ones still missing. More than 350 law enforcement officers and family members attended the 14th Annual Missing Persons Event—taking part in training sessions and lighting lanterns to honor missing individuals like Tamara Bell. - ➤ Bentonville chefs Rafael Rios of Yeyo's El Alma de Mexico and Matthew Cooper of Conifer were named finalists in the Best Chef: South category at the 2025 James Beard Awards held Monday at the Lyric Opera of Chicago—Bentonville was the only city with two nominees. - ➤ Northwest Arkansas National Airport recorded its highest enplanements in May with 117,821 passengers—surpassing the previous record of 109,923 set in October. His move may give state officials a stronger role in defending the law as further court proceedings are expected soon + officials prepare to clarify its constitutional limits.
