- ➤ Bourgon Reynolds, a Bentonville resident with a BA from the University of Arkansas and a JD from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, was named the third woman managing member in Rose Law Firm's 205-year history. She represents companies and individuals in complex civil litigation cases—Reynolds plans to expand the firm’s Northwest Arkansas office while maintaining its strong legacy. NWA Business Journal
- ➤ Today, the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal will honor 10 local businesswomen at a networking event at The Apollo on Emma in downtown Springdale. - ➤ Motorists in Bentonville should expect lane closures on two roads this week as crews install storm drains and repair a gas line from 8 a.m. — 4 p.m. Southwest Morningstar Road is reduced to one lane between Southwest Mahogany and Southwest Rosemont avenues while the northbound curbside lane on Southeast J Street is closed during the same hours. - ➤ Residents will soon be able to ask questions about a proposal to build a roundabout and improve the intersection of Vaughn Road and Southwest Regional Airport Boulevard at an open house meeting that will run from 4:30-6:30 p.m. June 26 at the Bentonville Municipal Building. The plan includes a two-lane roundabout, roadway and drainage improvements and sidewalk construction, and public comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. July 11. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Today, Bentonville paused filling 17 vacant positions and halted nonessential travel and training to address a shortfall in sales tax revenue caused by larger-than-expected state rebates.
