- ➤ Razorbacks coach Dave Van Horn pulled junior pitcher Zach Root in the second inning of the College World Series game in Omaha—bringing in sophomore Gabe Gaeckle—in an effort to slow LSU's scoring, though LSU beat the Razorbacks 4-1.
