- ➤ Former Rogers police chief and current city council member Hayes Minor, 53, was arrested Sunday night in Fayetteville after deputies stopped his Cadillac Escalade on I-49 for speeding and tailgating, and he failed field sobriety and breath tests revealing a blood alcohol level above 0.08 (he is scheduled to appear in Fayetteville District Court on July 7). - ➤ Timothy Rhodifer, 67, a Missouri man, was given two concurrent life sentences on two counts of rape in Benton County this week—he was under investigation for indecent exposure. 4029 News
