  • Bella Vista Community Church will hold the BVCC Kids Summer Arts & Science Camp 2025 at 75 E. Lancashire Blvd from July 14 to 18, running 8:30-11:30 a.m. daily and open to children ages 6 to 12. Classes include art, science, and music activities, and registration ends June 27 (camp fees are $10 per child or $20 per family).  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Starting this weekend through the end of June, the Arkansas National Guard will convoy from armories to training sites at Camp Robinson and Fort Chaffee. Military vehicles will travel slower than posted speed limits on highways—drivers should stay cautious when passing them.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

  • On Friday at Baum-Walker Stadium, the Razorbacks beat North Dakota State 6-2 in the NCAA Fayetteville Regional opener thanks to left-handed pitchers Parker Coil and Landon Beidelschies (who combined for seven scoreless innings) after junior Aiden Jimenez had a shaky start.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • No. 3 Arkansas baseball beat North Dakota State 6—2 in the Fayetteville Regional opener and moved into the winners' bracket. The team scored on early hits and will play in the winners' bracket game today at 8 p.m.—continuing its push in the NCAA Tournament.  4029 News
