  • Rogers-based attorney Sach Oliver will be honored in London when he joins The Inner Circle of Advocates, an invitation-only group recognizing trial lawyers with multiple seven- and eight-figure verdicts (he is the only active Arkansas attorney receiving this honor).  NWA Business Journal
  • Bentonville-based Walmart will report its Q1 earnings on Thursday, May 21, with materials available at 6 a.m. and a live investor call starting at 7 a.m.; analysts expect 66 cents per share.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

ECONOMY NEWS

  • A federal report from May 19 shows that only Northwest Arkansas, Jonesboro, and Texarkana metros added nonfarm jobs in March while Central Arkansas, Fort Smith and other areas posted slight declines; statewide jobless rates rose from 3.9% to 4.3%.  NWA Business Journal

  • Taitum Rehkopf has been a key player for Farmington softball, helping her team win the 5A-West Conference championship and reach the Class 5A state championship game.
