MercyMe will headline a fall show at Walmart AMP on Oct.
29 as part of the 2026 Synchrony Concert Series – they will perform with Jeremy Camp, Tim Timmons, and Sam Wesley, presale begins May 21 and tickets go on sale May 22.
The Bentonville Film Festival announced its full 12th annual lineup for June 15-21.
The festival features 34 films, including five world premieres, special Q&A sessions with industry figures like Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgwick, and passes priced at $250-$1,250.

A new ARCOMPASS Explorer dashboard gives communities current health and social data free for local use.

Benton’s Panthers won 5-0 over El Dorado on Thursday in the first round of the Class 5A state baseball tournament at Greene County Tech High School’s Bruce Hunt Field.
Coach Mark Balisterri said the team focused on advancing despite the win not looking their best.
Arkansas track and field’s Ernest Cheruiyot won the men’s 10,000 on Thursday at Hutsell+Rosen Track in Auburn, posting a winning time of 29:34.34 and earning his team 10 points while breaking an eight-year streak by Alabama runners.
High school girls soccer matches took place Thursday, with Fayetteville winning 6-0 over Pulaski Academy and Bentonville West earning a 5-0 victory over Jonesboro among other games that showcased competitive play in Class 6A to 3A.
Washington softball starts its NCAA Fayetteville Regional game today at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
The team, after a challenging finish, hopes to bounce back with its star infield duo leading the way.
