  • Walmart announced its new Trend-to-Product program — made in Bentonville — that uses artificial intelligence to cut the time to design and produce clothing from six months to six to eight weeks even as tariffs challenge supply lines.  NWA Business Journal

CULTURE NEWS

  • Bentonville Parks and Recreation and the Public Art Advisory Committee unveiled a 17-foot-high by 19-foot-wide wood installation called 'HERE' at Creekside Park on May 9th — designed by international artist Justin Tyler Tate, it offers visitors a chance to reflect on their place and presence.  City of Bentonville

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Motorists in Bentonville will face traffic delays along A Street next week as city crews work on asphalt restoration, sewer manhole cleaning and gas line work. Northeast A Street will be a one-lane work zone Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. while adjustments on Southwest and Northwest A Street will occur Tuesday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. or from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.—contact Ryan Babbino at 4792713130 for details.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • Northwest Arkansas lawmakers told a landlords group that they will push for property tax reform & pointed to three Washington County houses with bills of $500, $1,200, and $2,200 to show differences in taxes.
