  • Springdale-based Tyson Foods reported a 3.5% dip in Q2 net income to $497 million and a 4.4% rise in revenue to $13.653 billion as strong chicken and prepared foods sales drove growth.   • A recall for frozen pizzas due to possible salmonella contamination now includes two Great Value products sold at Walmart (thin crust chicken bacon ranch and stuffed crust chicken bacon ranch). The Department of Agriculture urges customers to discard or return the affected items.  4029 News
  • Health professionals and families gathered Monday, May 4 at the Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education in Springdale to mark the opening of Arkansas’ first Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center.   • On Monday, in a 6A-West Conference baseball game at Bulldog Field, Fayetteville defeated Bentonville West 11-3 as Tanner Davison hit two home runs and a double while Will Schaefer struck out 13 in five innings.
