  • The 34th Congress for the New Urbanism runs May 12-16 in Northwest Arkansas as 1,500 planners gather for panels and keynotes. Harvard professor Raj Chetty opens at 4 p.m. May 13 at Ozark Ballroom (Fayetteville Town Center) and sociologist Eric Klinenberg closes on May 15 at First Baptist Church.  NWA Business Journal
  • Arkansas’ first chairlift access bike park opens June 12 while OZ Trails released founding member prices. Individual memberships cost $99 a month and family memberships $199—a rate that provides unlimited lift rides, early May access, a Founding Members Wall spot, and a Founders and Friends Weekend over Memorial Day.  4029 News

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Bentonville and Berryville were among 22 communities awarded a share of $25 million through the Arkansas Site Development Program on April 28—Bentonville received $142,500 to boost its industrial site and Berryville got $1 million for similar improvements.  5 News
