- ➤ A nonprofit called Immerse Arkansas did a study and will expand in 2026 to help youths aging out of foster care by offering coaching and trauma-informed shelter services for teens aged 14—18 and young adults aged 18—24 in Northwest Arkansas. It plans to serve up to 60 youths in Benton—Washington counties while also providing transitional housing for 15 young people. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ Bella Vista Historical Museum will expand its space by adding 3,800 square feet to the existing 2,500 square feet—officials say the upgrade will protect historical artifacts better and display more donated items. The expansion comes as new residents arrive and community contributions like family heirlooms support a growing collection. 4029 News

- ➤ On April 26, 2025, Congressman Steve Womack hosted a military academy information day at Har-Ber High School in Springdale—where high school students learned how to apply to military service academies—and alumni and representatives explained the admissions process—while Naval Academy candidate Bruce Quayle said the event helped him prepare for interviews and applications. 4029 News
