Arkansas PBS will livestream a sold-out event at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville—featuring Katie Couric and Olivia Walton as they discuss wellness, storytelling and media’s role in shaping lives.

Northwest Arkansas Community College is seeking volunteers today to build a trail connecting the Arkansas Missouri Trail to Water Tower Road on its Bentonville campus as part of Earth Day celebrations.

Volunteers will meet at the CTEC Building on 1 College Ave from 8-11 a.m. & use hand tools while touring the new bike lab.

Pro-voting groups filed a federal lawsuit on Monday in Fayetteville after the Legislature passed laws that make it very hard for citizens to put ideas on the ballot — the suit, led by the League of Women Voters and a constitutional amendment group, claims these restrictions violate both the state constitution and federal rights.

A heavily traveled intersection in Bentonville will have lane closures for four days next week—this change is expected to disrupt traffic.

The Arkansas Department of Health confirmed three positive measles cases in the state — the first was identified on April 10 in Saline County in an unvaccinated adult exposed out-of-state and the second is a child from Faulkner County with a similar exposure.

Officials have not yet released details about the third case or new public exposure locations.

Bentonville prep baseball beat Fort Smith Northside 8-5 when home runs by Connor Davis and Will Carmichael helped secure the win at the Tiger Athletic Complex, and Noah Bolinger pitched five strong innings.

Other high school teams including Farmington, Har-Ber, Van Buren and Bentonville softball won key contests—standout plays drove their victories.
