- ➤ Internationally known artist Nicholas Galanin visited Bentonville for the first time to share his thoughts at Crystal Bridges Museum after winning the Don Tyson Prize. - ➤ The University of Arkansas received a $5 million gift from the Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation to support the Land of Opportunity Scholarship—designed to boost educational access for students from all 75 counties—and the three-year campaign, which launched Nov. 12, had raised 64% of its goal as of April 1. 5 News

- ➤ After signing a bill that allows nitrogen gas for executions, Gov. Sanders said on Friday that she is not in a hurry to resume the practice since the state last carried out an execution in 2017—her remarks came as lawmakers finished their session.
