CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Two Missouri residents, Gage Hill of Seligman and Jamie Walker of Cassville, were arrested and held on $1 million bonds after Bentonville man Adam Blake Hensley died on April 4 from a fentanyl overdose—Walker is set for arraignment at 8 a.m. May 19 while Hill is scheduled for arraignment at 8 a.m. May 27. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Bentonville Public Library will host the 'Confident Commuters' program—a 1½-hour session on May 8th at 5:30 p.m. that teaches bike commuting skills and covers gear, planning, and road rules; the first 25 registrants will receive bike lights and a goody bag from a Walmart Foundation grant. - ➤ On Monday a Benton mother said her four-year-old daughter wandered away from the Child Development Center at First United Methodist Church after leaving the bathroom and was found by two women who called the police—her daughter was safely returned and her family promptly left the daycare. 5 News

- ➤ Bentonville is hosting a panel discussion 'What's Zoning Have to Do With Me?' today at Northwest Arkansas Community College in the Walmart Auditorium of the Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technologies from 9 to 10:30 a.m.—panelists and community members will explore the pending Unified Development Code and its effect on local zoning regulations.
