- ➤ Rogers man Joseph Alexander, 29, broke into his parents' home on Linebarger Lane on March 24 and allegedly shot his mother in the head with a crossbow—he fled before police arrived and was later caught in Missouri on a $50,000 bond as he faces charges of attempted capital murder. 5 News
- ➤ A driver who led a police chase Tuesday had his pickup rammed by a state trooper, which flipped the vehicle, killed one passenger, and injured two, and state police said he will face murder and battery charges. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
