  • On Friday, the judge questioned settlement proposals in the Illinois River pollution case involving Tyson Foods & others, noting that the plan did not set a cap on poultry production and could allow increased litter runoff.   • Six former Razorbacks participated in the 2026 NFL Combine where standout performances by Taylen Green and Mike Washington Jr impressed scouts ahead of the NFL Draft scheduled for April 23–25 in Pittsburgh.   • Arkansas gymnastics broke program and SEC attendance records Friday night at Bud Walton Arena with 15,512 fans—surpassing the previous record of 11,031. The team fell to No. 1 Oklahoma by .425 and coach Jordyn Wieber praised the strong fan support.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • Benton maintained an early lead in the Class 5A state basketball tournament game against Greene County Tech at Cardinal Arena in Farmington on Friday, March 6. The Eagles sealed their win with a 9-0 run as Tech fought hard throughout the match.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • Boys high school basketball tournaments show Bentonville teams lost close six-A matchups with scores of 60 and 54.
