A local circuit judge race is in focus after one candidate claimed his opponent used artificial intelligence to produce a mugshot for a campaign mailer — a claim that raises questions about digital ethics during the contest.

Fayetteville’s boys started the second half Friday night with an 11-0 run to claim a share of the conference lead with a rout of Bentonville, and Coach Brad Stamps said their strong play could fuel their run in the upcoming Class 6A state tournament.

Bentonville West girls finished the season with a historic win at Fort Smith Southside.

The team capped its best season in school history while playing in the challenging 6A-West conference.
