  • Mumford and Sons launch their new album Prizefighter and announce a tour stop at Walmart AMP in Rogers on Tuesday, June 9. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, with prices between $62 - $173.  5 News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • In Rogers, a retired educator will challenge a School Board member with 10 years of service in the upcoming election. The contest pits a candidate with new educational experience & one with long-standing local service.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Habitat for Humanity NWA CEO Ashley Wheeler said her recent Washington, D.C. trip left her hopeful after meeting Rep. Steve Womack and congressional staffers to discuss housing proposals, including the ROAD to Housing Act (which seeks to improve federal housing programs). SPORTS NEWS

  • Arkansas baseball coach Dave Van Horn and players Camden Kozeal, Nolan Souza & Gabe Gaeckle recapped their Razorbacks' Game 1 win over Xavier on Friday at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • Arkansas men's basketball will play Missouri at 3 p.m. today at Bud Walton Arena (Fayetteville). Razorbacks' wing Isaiah Sealy is listed as doubtful but may see a larger role with Karter Knox out indefinitely.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • Arkansas track teams broke records Friday at the Randal Tyson Track Center with both distance medley relay squads setting new school marks and Rivaldo Marshall surpassing the Jamaican 800 record.   • The Bentonville Community Center hosted an Area 3 Special Olympics Arkansas swim meet on Thursday (featuring athletes from Benton, Washington, and Madison counties).
