  • Acres.com, a Fayetteville-based land data provider, was recognized by HousingWire at the 2026 Tech100 awards (real estate) for its innovative technology. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Members of the Walton family appointed Dr. David Mazyck as the inaugural president of a planned STEM-focused university at the former Walmart Home Office in Bentonville. Site work will soon begin to prep the mixed-use development (office, hotel, multifamily housing and retail spaces).  NWA Business Journal

HEALTH NEWS

  • Washington Regional Medical System in Fayetteville announced new hires to strengthen its care and surgery centers in Northwest Arkansas, including cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Gregory Fink (previously at Methodist Healthcare Hospital System), pediatric hospitalist Dr. Camille Chan, and nurse Jessica Mabry.  NWA Business Journal
