  • Immerse Arkansas—a Little Rock nonprofit—is expanding to Northwest Arkansas by opening an office in Lowell. Scott Bull was appointed as executive director and will lead efforts to launch the LifeBASE transitional program for youth, including housing and support services, set to begin in 2026 after a nearly $100,000 needs assessment.  NWA Business Journal

  • Bentonville-based Velocity NWA launched Ride to Work Wednesday, a 12-episode leadership storytelling series filmed on bikes at Walmart’s new Home Office—bringing fresh local insights to career leadership.  NWA Business Journal
  • Jeannette Balleza Collins, a longtime supporter of local startups, joined Zenwork Inc. as director of strategic alliances in January 2025 to use her two decades of experience to boost fintech innovation in Fayetteville.  NWA Business Journal

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Bentonville-based Missio Capital and Newell Development will break ground on MidCity Commons — a three-story, 185-unit multifamily project at 2804 S.E. John Rollow Drive; construction will start in January and units will be available in 2027.  NWA Business Journal

SPORTS NEWS

  • Auburn transfer linebacker Jamonta Waller (6-0, 243 lbs) did not play for the Tigers this season and met with Arkansas football officials to discuss a potential visit. The discussion could open new opportunities for both the player and the program.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • UConn lineman Vincent Jackson recapped his tour of football programs — he visited Colorado State ahead of his stop in Fayetteville and is now heading to Georgia Tech.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
