About this event
The holiday season is often portrayed as a time of joy and celebration, but the reality can be more complicated. Grief, financial pressure, emotional exhaustion, and seasonal expectations can all affect well-being.
Join Employee Wellness, with Engagement, Recognition, and Wellness in Human Resources, as we welcome Temeka L. Ramsey, LMSW , of Atmosphere Beautiful, LLC., for Joy Isn’t Mandatory , an honest, healing-centered conversation about navigating the emotional realities of the season. Participants will explore practical strategies for recognizing stress responses, navigating difficult emotions, setting realistic boundaries, seeking support, and choosing restorative actions.
The session will introduce the five-part Seasonal Reset framework and include mental health education, relatable storytelling, guided reflection, an interactive activity, and time for questions and discussion.
Lunch will be provided for registered participants. Registration is required.
